Maison des illustres
The Ministry of Culture awarded the "Maison des Illustres" label to the Musée Escoffier de l'Art Culinaire, which is housed in the birthplace of Chef Auguste Escoffier, on 11 October 2016.
Created in 2011, the "Maisons des Illustres" label identifies places whose vocation is to preserve and transmit the memory of women and men who have distinguished themselves in the political, social and cultural history of France.
The label is awarded by the Ministry of Culture for a renewable period of 5 years. It represents an official recognition of the heritage interest of the House and gives rise to various benefits.
In 2019, eleven new houses were awarded the label. The network now counts 245 houses.

Accueil Vélo
"Accueil Vélo" is a national label that guarantees a high quality welcome and services along cycle routes for cyclists. It is set up under the aegis of France Vélo Tourisme by local tourist organisations in order to provide the best possible welcome to cyclists throughout France.
The Museum wanted to be part of this global approach established on its territory in order to welcome all our visitors whatever their means of transport.
Villeneuve-Loubet has specific infrastructures, in particular more than 20 km of cycle tracks, a signposted cycle tourism circuit, and specialised professional partners (hire companies, shops, repairers). The municipality is active and involved in soft mobility. The Villeneuve-Loubet tourist office offers specific documentation, organises a family bike rally and a "Fête du Vélo" day.
Villeneuve-Loubet is also one of the stage towns of the Mediterranean by Bike / EuroVélo8, a European cycle route which passes through the South of France.
